Bob Roberts and Mr. John Williams officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and, Mrs. Kenneth Alton of RR 7, Lucknow while the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Nivins of RR 3, Auburn. The bride was wed in her mother's wedding dress. The Maid of Honor was Lori Hackett of Kitchener, a friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Suzanne Alton of RR 7, Lucknow, sister of the bride; Laurie Dalton of Goderich, friend of the bride and Dianne Sidders of Thunder Bay, cousin of the bride. The flowergirl was Jane Harris of Sydney, Australia, cousin of the bride and the ringbearer was Jason Shortreed of Walton, a friend of the bride and groom. The best man was Larry Plaetzer of Auburn, friend of the groom. The ushers were Ralph Nivins of Auburn, brother of the groom; George Alton of RR 7 Lucknow, brother of the bride and Gerald Nivins of Toronto, brother of the groom. After a reception at the Lucknow Community Centre, the cou- ple went on a wedding trip to northern On- tario and Thunder Bay. Mr. and Mrs. Nivins will reside at RR 3 Wingham. Brindley and Allan Le- mont, of RR1 Tiverton, son of Phyllis Le- mont, of RR2 Walkerton and the late Irvine Lemont were married July 19, 1986 at North Street United Church with Rev. John Wood officiating. Matron of honor was Alice Pfeifer, of RR2 Monkton, friend of the bride and bridesmaids were Catherine Anson, of RR1 Tiverton, niece of the bride and Helen Brindley, of RR6 Goderich, sister of the bride. Flowergirl was Megan Lemont, of RR3 Tiverton, niece of the groom and ringbearer was Kevin Anson, of RR1 Wingham, nephew of the bride. Groomsman was Brian McTeer, of RR4 Paisley, friend of the groom and ushers were Richard Alex- ander, of RR1 Tiverton, friend of the groom and Randy Alexander, of RR1 Tiverton, friend of the groom. The bride was given away by Uncle Albert Brindley of Windsor. The reception was held at Saltford Valley Hall. After a wedding trip to Bracebridge, the couple will reside in Tiverton. Stuart Blake Alton' of Rin 2 Lucknow and" Donna Joy Drennan of RR 7 Lucknow were married at the Nile United Church on June 14 with Rev. John Roberts and Mr. John Williams officiating. The groom is the son . of Dora Alton and the late Blake Alton of RR 2 Luckndw while the bride is the daughter of Henry and Bernice Drennan of RR 7 Lucknow. The Maid of Honor was Brenda Chisholm of RR 2 Lucknow. The bridesmaids were Colleen Adams of RR 5 .-Lucknow and Tracy Black of RR 6 Goderich. The flowergirl was Charlotte Drennan of RR 2 Auburn while the ringbearer was Lee Cranston of RR 2 Lucknow. The best man was Steve Alton of RR 2 Lucknow. The ushers were Byron Ballagh of Teeswater and Terry Zinn of RR 2 Lucknow. Following a reception at the Ripley Community Complex, the cou- ple went on their wedding trip to .Ox - Tongue Lake.
