Donald enjoyed great success at the Na-
tional Theatre of Great Britain last year and
has just re -opened in London. The play
focusses on Siegfried Sassoon and Wilfred
Owen, England's two major poets of the
World War One period.
"Intimate Admiration" by Canadian
writer Richard Epp deals with the relation-
ship between Anton Chekhov and his long-
time mistress, -Olga Knipper, the great Rus-
sian actress who starred in many of
Chekhov's plays. It will run in tandem with
"The Cherry Orchard".
"I am verypleased to be able to announce
•the 4987"sealsttn ut"this 'early"date," John
Neville said.
"A great deal of time has been spent
devising a playbill that features more pro-
ductions while holding ton balanced budget.
An expanded playbill offers a wider choice
for our audiences, more latitude in terms of
scheduling and .a wider variety of
challenges for our performers."
"Also, we will be returning next year to
the policy of a single acting company that
will be cross -cast in both the Festival and
Avon' Theatres."
In 1.987, the. Young Company a ain will
present two productions in the Thi d Stage
They are still to be announced.
Further casting and production details
will be announced as soon as the Informa-
tion is available.
