weekend festivities
It's a cliche but it's never been truer.
There will be something for everyone at
the Port Albert 150th birthday party
August 1- 4.
'A giant parade, a school days reunion, a
windsurfing regatta, horseshoes pitching,
canoe races, a volleyball tournament, a
fish fry and pork barbeque, the RCA? reu-
nion, a shirt tail parade, dances, tug of war
and arm wrestling, a magic show and pup-
pet theatre, a church service, a fun run
and a gong show. It's as impressive a list
of activities ever planned for a party and
entertainment chairman Jap Dickson
hopes everyone will join in the fun.
Activities were planned with every age
group in mind with as wide a range as
possible to provide something of interest
for everyone. Jan said she hopes everyone
will find a number of activities they want
to participate in so that everyone gets in on
the fun. '
