I think we'll have enough time.
I'd just like to say a few words.
Here we are...We are, all here. Most of you
probably know why we areo receive
eCeive
our report cards, payrespect
our
teachers, wear our new dresses and suits,
graduate...and finally to bid farewell to
RMPS,, , forever. We have perservered
throughout another year, and what a year it
has been.
It has been a year of change. New
classmates, new teachers, new rules...wait
don't fall asleep yet...and a new principal.
Ah yes—Mr. MacLennan. He has brought
with him new ideas,''new standards and
regulations, all of which have made life as a
student well—interesting. Yes, Mr. MacLen-
nan you are certainly one of a kind, and so
was that outfit you wore on Clash Day.
Now that I have finished• picking on Mr.
MacLennan, I would _ like to address my,
fellow graduates. Fellow grads: we finally
made it. We have lasted through countless
rocks and minerals, Mr. Matthies' attempts
at humour, numerous "er" verbs and the
American Revolution. We are the class of
'86. And here We are, out of our jeans and
Roots sweatshirts, about to go where many
have gone, but from, none have returned—
the halls of GDCI. But before we go, let us
reminisce about our senior year, shall we?.

Wednesday, October 30, 1985—our first
dance. But did anybody dance? No o o.
Sometime near Christmas—Student Coun-
cil was slaving away for our second dance.
Did anybody dance? No o o. Did anybody
show up? Nope.
Let us now bounce into basketball season.
The girls—it was the last game. If they won,
they won the pennant. If they lost they lost
everything. They faced Colborne. "Go
ahead, make my day" after an age of sweat
and tears (Go Rams, Go Rams), and the
whistle blew (Go Rams, Go Rams)—we
won! ! ! ! Oh, and the boys? They lost.

ed our scripts—would be performing in front
of an audience. A live audience. But thanks
to Mrs. Steigmiere, Mt% Spittle, a lot of
talented actresses, actors, stage, lighting
and prop crews, the Grade 8 musical was a
tree-men-dous success. This sell-out also
provided money for Canada's Wonderland.
We had a great time, braving the rides,
wasting money on the games, catching,
pneumonia oil<White Water Canyon and just
laughing together.
When you look back it hasn't been all bad,
our senior year. And now that school has
come to an end...no, let me not say "end"
for Robertson isn't the end...it has merely
prepared us for another beginning. Thank
you.
