The second game Sunday afternoon saw a little closer score as the home team. Hot Shots, fell to the hands of Bruno's 12-9. Bruno's rallied in the first inning for seven runs towards their victory. Donna Caldwell went 3 for 3 at the plate for the winners. Monday June 2 saw a very close battle as Samuelsons won their fourth game in a row. They squeaked by Sifto 14-13. Judy Woodall had three hits for the winners. Cathie Sturdy was top batsman for Sifto as she went 4 for, 4. Tuesday June 6, home team Double Blue, behind the hitting of Carol Vanderheyden and Debbie Tibert with three hits apiece, won their game against Nile, 7-6. Ann Johnston and'Marlene MacDonald had three hits- apiece for Nile, including a home run each on the losing end. Wednesday night it took the Oldtimers three innings before they got on track to go on and defeat Meneset 18-16. Shirley Schmit had a good night as she collected three hits for the winners. Cathy Gutmanis went 4 for 4 for Meneset. Not Much got a big lift and a fine team ef- fort ffort as they won their first game of the season by defeating Night Owls on Thursday night 8-5.
