Edito'r's Note:Community calendar listings
are ,offered free to non-profit clubs and ser-
vice groups by the Signal -Star to publicize
their events and activities for a two-week
period. If you would like a listing of your
group's event to appear please write the in-
formation on a piece of paper, as per the
listings below, giving the day and date of the
event followed by the pertinent information
in sentence form. The listing must be sub-
mitted on Mondays by 4 p.m. to appear in
that week's edition of the paper. We ask that
readers either submit the written informa-
tion in person or by mail.
SUNDAY, JUNE 22- Goderich Lioness Club
presents Summer Salad Supper with fresh
strawberry dessert at Knox Presbyterian
Church from 5-7 p.m. Tickets -adults $6,
children under 12-$3- are available from
Campbell's, Silhouette Hair Fashions and
Lioness members.
MONDAY, JUNE 23- Women helping other
women- a self-help group for widowed,
separated and divorced women will meet at
Knox Presbyterian Church at 8 p.m. Guest
speaker is Nancy McLeod from Huron Cen-
tre for Children and Youth. For information

'MONDAY, JUNE 16- Goderich Lioness Club
Diabetic Drop -In Centre at MacKay Hall
from 7-9.30 p.m. The meeting marks the
first anniversary of centre and a local phar-
macist will be the guest speaker.
MONDAY, JUNE 23- Student versus
employer Soccer Challenge at the high
school field at 7.30 p.m. While it is not a
World Cup match, the quality of play should
be entertaining. Everyone is welcome.
FRIDAY, JUNE 20- Diamond Jubilee Grand
Finale Dance in the Jubilee Room of
Goderich Legion Branch 109. Ticket $5
available at canteen.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 11- Card party at
MadKayy. Centre at 8 p.m. featuring euchre
and 500. Admission $1.
FRIDAY, JUNE 20- Dance at MacKay Cen-
tre to Gord Harrison's group. Admission $2.
Everyone welcome.
SATURDAYS- Farmer's Market from 8
a.m. to 1 p.m. in Courthouse Square. Spon-
sored by Goderich BIA. Market will run un-
til Mb, tissgiving weekend.

meeting of Federal Superannuates National
Association at Goderich Lawn Bowling

Thirty-six volunteer members of the Alex-
andra Marine and General Hospital Aux-
iliary manned their Hosts Friday, May 30
from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at all the banks and
from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Zehr's, the Sun•

homemade pie at St. George's Anglican
Church from 5-7 p.m. in the parish hall.

SUNDAY, JUNE 29- Goderich Lions Pan-
cake Breakfast and Beef Barbecue at Lions
Harbour Park. Breakfast served from 8
a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost $2.50. Beef served from 3
- 7 p.m. Cost $5 advance- $6 at park. Tickets
available from Goderich Lions Club
members.
FRIDAY, JUNE 13- Goderich Legion Aux-
iliary will hold a tag day. Proceeds to local
appeals, the handicapped, nursing homes,
relief work and student bursaries.
TUESDAY, JUNE 17- Goderich Little
Theatre Annual Meeting at 8 p.m. in The
Livery, South Street, Everyone welcome.
SATURDAY,. JUNE 21- Goderich Little
Theatre annual dinner at 6.30 p.m. at The

JUNE 13-14- The Dungannon Agricultural
Society is sponsoring a men's slowpitch
tournament in Dungannon for players over
30 years of age. Teams can contact Carol at

WEDNESDAYS- weekly euchre games all
summer long at the Dungannon Senior
Citizen Centre at 8 p.m. Admission $1 -bring
lunch.
WEDNESDAY, - The Circle City
Toastmasters Club meets in Victoria Public
School (Queen Elizabeth Wing) at 7 p.m.
