Austin goes
4 for 4 in win
Monday night action saw Go-4-ettes win
their 3rd game by defeating Double Blue
13-5. Kim Austin was the top batsman for
Go-4-ettes as she went 4 for 4 including a
home run. Barb Ottewell also had a home
run for the winners.
Sifto Salt collected 23 hits defeating the
Night Owls 22-2. Joyce Baer, and Kathleen
Carter had 3 hits each for Sifto.
The game.out at Meneset, saw the home
team fall to the visiting Nile team 12-1.
Marlene MacDonald banged out four hits
to lead Nile to the win. Sherry Warren col-
lected two hits for Meneset.
On Tuesday May 27, Samuelson's won .
their first game 17-3 over Bruno's. Rory
Hurlock and Brenda Parker led the win- .
ners with two hits each. Addison Graham
had the lone home run.
Wednesday night saw another high scor-
ing game as the Oldtimers defeated Not
Much 18-6. Bev Wright, Addie Pennie and
Glenda Cornish led the winners with 2 hits
each.
Thursday evening May 29, Hot Shots
scored nine runs in the first inning and
went on to defeat Meneset 19-3. Marion
Meriam and Cathy Hamilton went 3 for 3,
at the plate for the Hot Shots.

dian 7 to 4 while the Port Albert Bulldogs
kibbled and bit Garb & Gear in a 20 to 0

week, losing all three of their games with
Boyes Transport, Home Hardware and the
BB's. Goderich Nissan scalped the Chiefs
18 to 2, Boyes Transport rolled over Home
Hardware 12 to 5 and Suncoast R & T broil-
ed Local 1863 16 to 1 in six.
The Gators tied Parkhouse Raiders 14 to
14 and local 1863 12 to 12. Ideal Supply
defeated . the Elevators 11 to 2, Coyotes
blasted the Chiefs ,16 to 2 and Green
Machine downed Sunys 11 to 2.
Todd Graham sparkles
in losing diking effort
The GDCI senior Vikings finished fourth
in the WOSSA soccer tournament held last
Friday and Saturday at Norm Perry Park in
Sarnia.
The Vikings, as Huron Perth Champions,
took part in a round rob fourlame tourna•
ment with the winners ` of ' the other con-
ferences in Western Ontario.
The St. Thomas Central Elgin Titans
emerged as the winners and will advance to
the all -Ontario OFSAA competition this
weekend in Toronto.
The Vikings shutout Dorchester, the Mid-
dlesex champions, 6-0 for their only victory
of the tournament.
Goderich lost 7-1 to Sarnia Northern, 4-1.to
London South and 3-0 to St. Thomas.
Todd Graham led the Viking scoring with
two goals against Dorchester and one each
against Sarnia and St, Thomas. Nicolas
Glatfeld had two goals for Goderich and
Darren Doak and Chris Sideris scored one
goal each. Keeper Kevin Telford had the
shutout.
