B arbecue will kick off 15th season On Saturday, June 7, Huron Country Playhouse will kick off its 15th Anniversary Season. A delicious chicken barbecue with trimmings will be served up by the board of directors, while the Exeter Jug band pro- vides music to have fun by. The highlight of the evening for those in attendance will be when they secure their clever bargain buys at the silent and live auction, planned throughout the evening. Items on the block include a beautiful "Country Scene" hand -made quilt, free water -park admission to Pioneer er pot sworld, dinners, three-day golfpackage, weekend for two at Wildwood Lodge, Salmon Charter for four - Led Bay, hand crafter pottery, crystal, antiques, artwork, T-shirt with album and autographed photo by the Nylons, and many, many more items. The Festival Box Office will be open on the Saturday, from 9 am to 5 pm, for those wishing to purchase tickets for the Blyth Festjval or exchange vouchers. Throughout the weekend, an exhibition of the work of London artist Tom Benner will be on display in the Festival Gallery. Mr. Benner himself will present a slide show and discussion of his work on Saturday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.rn. For children, Warren Robinson will be spinning yarns on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. There is no admission charge. Memorial Hall is located on the main street in Blyth.
