Company will perform
In celebration of their 10th Anniversary
the National Tap Dance Company of Canada
with the renowned choreographer, Brian
McDonald, will present their gala mixed
program on the Huron Country Playhouse
main stage on June 20, at 8:30 p.m..
"Tapel Music" is a very special produc-
tion and will kick off the Company's year of

largest used book sale to be held Saturday
May 31 from 9 a.m. to 6 .m., and Sunn day
June 1 from noon until 5 p.

This popular fund-raising event for
Blyth Festival is in its eighth year.
Thousands of used hardcover and paper-
back books will be on sale at incredibly
prices. In addition to the book bargains,
there will be a bake table and lunch counter,
Heather Redick, is delighted that this grand
performance Will "first". be seen in Grand
Bend. This rare .opportunity, and "one show
only" will provide a unique opportunity for
Playhouse patrons.
In addition to this, Oliver Button is a
Sissy, by the same Company, is offered for
the younger audience at 2:30 p.m.

B arbecue
will kick off
15th season
On Saturday, June 7, Huron Country
Playhouse will kick off its 15th Anniversary
Season. A delicious chicken barbecue with
trimmings will be served up by the board of
directors, while the Exeter Jug band pro-
vides music to have fun by.
The highlight of the evening for those in
attendance will be when they secure their
clever bargain buys at the silent and live
auction, planned throughout the evening.
Items on the block include a beautiful
"Country Scene" hand -made quilt, free
water -park admission to Pioneer

weekend for two at Wildwood Lodge,
Salmon Charter for four - Led Bay, hand

a garage sale on the Lawn sponsored by the
Blyth Festival Singers, and tours of the
theatre. The Festival Box Office will be
open on the Saturday, from 9 am to 5 pm, for
those wishing to purchase tickets for the
Blyth Festjval or exchange vouchers.
Throughout the weekend, an exhibition of
the work of London artist Tom Benner will
be on display in the Festival Gallery. Mr.
Benner himself will present a slide show and
discussion of his work on Saturday at 1 p.m.
and 3 p.rn. For children, Warren Robinson
will be spinning yarns on Sunday afternoon
at 2 p.m.
There is no admission charge. Memorial
Hall is located on the main street in Blyth.
Donations of used books for this event
may be left at any of the following locations
