Business
Two young men from Chatham, Brian Beattie and Steve Sadler opened their first business,
Waterbed Fantasy in Goderich Township at the Zehr's Mall two months ago. They
specialize in waterbeds and all waterbed accessories such as waveless mattresses, padded
rails, sheets and comforters. They say they chose to locate in the Goderich area because it
offered a good market for waterbeds, a growing town and nice people. Both men say they've

Port Albert church
holds communion
Holy Communion was observed at Christ
Anglican Church with Rev. Robert Crocker
conducting the service.
Harold Adams was appointed to represent
the Congregation at Synod, being held in St.
Paul's Cathedral, London, this week.
Michael and Janet Belinger and children
are spending a few days at the home of their
parents, Roy and Bessie Belinger. Mark
Belinger also is home from Toronto.
Nile and Margaret Sochmen, of New
Hamburg, have purchased a cottage in the
Nine Mile River area. We welcome them to
the Community. Nile is an ardent sport-
sman, and we trust he has great luck
fishing!
Road construction in this area is under-
way. We ask everyone to drive carefully,
take it a little slower and raise less dust!
Thank you.
'rhe cottagers are coming once again, in
greater numbers each week, and the hopeful
fishermen are busy at the river. The
beautiful outdoors activities are with us
once again.
The ACW of Christ Church met on
Wednesday afternoon and the Sanctuary of
the church was given a spring cleaning.
The meeting was then called to order by
the President, Margaret Young. The
secretary's report was read by Bessie
Belinger.
Discussion of the summer activities then
took place. The group has a wedding recep-
tion to plan in June. There will be a garage
sale held June 28. Donations are requested.
Plans for the annual bake sale to be held
the end of July were also made. Discussion
of the 150th weekend anniversary was held
over to a later meeting.
