The annual Art Show and Open House will begin the evening of May 15 and continue until May 31: (photo by Susan Hundertmark) Goderich Art Club hangs .pictures in the Library There will be a hanging this week at the Library. But relax it's pictures they're hanging. The Goderich Art Club is prepar- ing for their annual Art Show and Open House, beginning the evening of May 15 at 7:30 p.m. on the lower level of the Goderich Public Library. The Goderich Art• Club isan informal group of artists who get togetherregularly to work, exchange ideas and offer each other encouragement. Each year the results 9f these efforts are displayed in various ocations around town. The present location in the Library has been recently redecorated and provides a pleasant background for the pictures and a peaceful place for viewing them.. The public are invited to come, gaze and enjoy the creative efforts of these local artists. The members of the Goderich Art Club are an eclectic group in terms of age, ex- perience and style. Many of the members have studied at the Southampton Art School, directed by Edna Johnson of Goderich,who is also a member of the Art Club.
