Ila L. Oke, 84, of f r derich, formerly of
Goderich Township, (ed Sunday, Apr. 27,
1986 in St. Joseph's H :pital, London.
Daughter of the WI Alfred Edward Cur-
rell and the late fo r Blanche Walters,
she was born June 6, 1901 in Colborne
Township. She was a ember of the Knox
Presbyterian Churc and the Goderich
Rebekah Lodge 89.
She was predecease' by her husband, the
late Irvine D. Oke a s one brother Lloyd
Currell.
Surviving are her ildren Murray and
Marie Oke, of Scarbo ugh, Don and Betty
Oke, of Zurich, Maxin:. nd Bill Gould, of Ot-
tawa, Ken and Ruth ,i e, of Goderich and
Jim and Joyce Oke, o Goderich Township,
one sister May, Mr •'; Lorne Rodges, of
Goderich, one brothe. George Currell, of
Goderich, 16 grandc Oen and 15 great
grandchildren.
Funeral services w e held at the Mc-
Callum Funeral Home r n Tuesday, Apr. 29
with Rev. G.L. Royal. r ficiating. Interment
Maitland Cemetery.

MYRNA H KING
Myrna Grace (Esse Hunking of RR5
Clinton died in the Cli on Public Hospital
on April 20. She was 47 ears -old.
Mrs. Hunking was the daughter of
Clarence Essex of Nia ra Falls add Mrs.
Ellwood (Lola) Atkins of Goderich. She
was born in Goderich o June 21, 1938.
On January 24, 1968 e married Donald
flunking.
Mrs. Hunking, who w
at Sherlock -Manning Pi o's, Clinton, until
she became ill in Octobe kof 1985, is survived
by her parents, he husband, three
daughters, Mrs. Fred (Joyce) Ctlttell of
London; Mrs. Murray 1 athy) Hunking of
Goderich and Dawn : ureen Hunking at
home She is also survived by four
a piano technician,
grandchildren.
OBITUARIES
She is also survived by one sister Mrs.
Gordon (Elsie) Hulley and two brothers, Joe
and Alvin Essex, all of Goderich.
A private funeral and committal service
was held on April 22 at the Ball and Falconer
Funeral Home, Clinton with Rev. Stan
McDonald of Hensall United Church
officiating.
Interment in Hope Chapel Cemetery in
Hullett Township.
HAZEL IRENE KENNY
Hazel Irene Kenny, 78, of Goderich, died
Friday, Apr. 25, 1986 at the St. Catharines
General Hospital. ,
Daughter off the late David Brindley and
the late former Margaret Tilliard, she was
born Aug. 5, 1906 in Colborne Township. She
was a member of the Victoria Street United
Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was predeceased by her first husband
Rodney C. (Bob) Goddard, her second hus-
band Orton Kenny and a brother Kim
Brindley.
Surviving are her children Margaret and
Bert Chaison, of Ottawa, Ethel and Harry
MacDonald, of Port Colborne, June and Dan
Williams, of St. Catharines, Wilhimena and
Rod McKay, of Niagara -on -the -Lake, David
and-, Joyce- Goddard; of Goderieh Danaid
and Ruth Goddard, of Goderich and Ronald
Goddard, of Goderich, one sister Margaret,
Mrs. William Kelly, of Goderich, two
brothers Henry and Charles Brindley, both
of Goderich, 24 grandchildren,, 30 great
grandchildren and one great great
granddaughter.
Funeral services were held at the Mc-
Callum Funeral Home on Monday, Apr. 28
with Rev. John D.M. Wood officiating. Inter-
ment Maitland Cemetery.
Flower bearers were Bobby Goddard,
Carey McKay, Rodney McKay, Kirk God-
dard and Chris Williams. Pallbearers in-
cluded Meecho Kekich, Danny -Boy
Williams, Bill Goddard, Kevin Goddard,
Rodey McKay and Tim Goddard.
The Bluewater Chapter 284 of the Order of
the Eastern Star held a memorial service at
the funeral home Sunday evening.

The allocation for 1986 was given by Hazel
McCreath. She also gave the treasurer's
report. Secretary Betty Helesic read leer
report as well.
World Week of Prayer was announced for
May 5-7 and the members were urged to at-
tend. Plans were made for a Rummage Sale
to be held May 23, The next meeting will be
May 26.
