Sue Bell:came to Robertson School and talked to the grade 8's about blindness. Students found out what it was like to be blind when they wore glasses d out aape covering them. Also they and much ut the aids helping blind people !we, Special thanks to Miss- Bell for coin- ing in and showing us many things dealing with blindrt1ss. Grade Four 4s busy playing games with marliales. April 1 grade 4 made a game deal- ing with marbles and then they tried playing one another's games. On April 2 anyone who brought some marbles could join in the games. On the 1, 2 and 3 of April an enrichment workshop oil.humour was held at Robertson. This was for grades 7 and 8 and was open to several schools in the area. They studied dif ferent forms of humour. Teachers involved with this workshop were: Mr. Bond, Mr. Matthies, Miss Broadwell and Mrs. Heslinga. TheiGrade Eights at Robertson went back a few years in history to when the Charlot- tetown Conference was held. Each student in each class was a Father of Confederations In this project each Father had to introduce himself with a short description. There was a description of the Colony and the advan- tages and disadvantages of Confederation were discussed. On March 25 the four, five and six classes went to -St. Marys School to see the Toronto Percussion Ensemble. On March 20th at 10 a.m. and at 7 p.m. there was a parent coffee time. This was a time to meet Mr. MacLennan and other teachers and to discuss events in the school. Grade 1 has been very busy lately making Easter baskets. They are also making a chair for the Spring Concert. It started out with a 4-H pledge then Marcia Boak reviewed the proper way to use a knife and fork. Lisa Scott read the minutes of the last meeting. Members learned how to in- troduce and thank a guest speaker. On April Fool's Day the 'Port Albert Eti- quete Experts had"their fourth meeting at Teresa •1VMeriam's itptl.$e. They started the meeting with the 4401edge. Vic&presklent Wendy Miltonbur asked our roll can reviewing wads to introduce a guest speaker. Then we played an'Etiquette trivia game which was tied.
