New children's show, Friends,
will be aired on CFPL next week
A new fast -paced show with lots of
music, comedy and things of interest for
kids 5-12 years old, Friends, has been
geared up for action April 12, at 11:30 a.m.
on CFPL TV -London.
Starring Glenn Gennett, a professional
children's musician -songwriter, and his
pals Eric, Megan, Kirsty and Michael, the
half-hour program follows the antics of
Glenn as a weird neighbourhood inventor.
A big friend to all the kids in the
neighbourhood, he's a part-time musician,
hero and all around nice guy whose inven-
-.
tions seem to spell madcap trouble rather
than success.
Owner of a magic dragon whose unusual
behaviour includes the installation of a
satellite dish on top of his customized dog
house, Glenn can usually be found working
on another invention to save the world,
running a part-time hero service for those
in distress or just having fun with his
friends with a song or two in the backyard.
A unique show for the in-betwen set,
Friends is interspersed with short comedy
and musical videos in a fast -paced, enter-
taining atmosphere.

BY JENNIFER A. BLACK
The third production of Goderich Little
Theatre is underway. Rehearsals for
Barefoot in the Park, a comedy in three acts
by Neil Simon and directed by June Hill,
have commenced and everyone is working
very hard.
Season ticket holders may reserve their
seats ahead of time and box office hours are
advertised elsewhere in this newspaper.
Non -season ticket holders may purchase
tickets at the door on the night ef the
performance.
Goderich Little Theatre would like to wish
Audrey and John Timbrefl good luck in their
move to Erin, Ontario. Audrey was a hard
worker backstage with many plays, collec-
ting props and moving furniture; and at one
time having the scenery fall on top of her!
But she survived!
John spent his time either putting up or
taking down scenery. We shall all miss them
both very much. Thanks for all your help.
Don't forget to come and see our final pro-
duction of this season Barefoot in the Park
April 23, 24, 25 and 26 commencing each
night at 8 p.m.
