Squeeze play. There was plenty 9f action along the boards and in the open ice area as well
Sunday as the Old Goderich Sailors ,of Intermediate C fame, vintage 1978-79, tangled with
their nautical counterparts, the Junior C Sailors in an exhibition game. While some of the
Sailors have hung up the skates or gone to the recreation league, they showed the juniors a

Ice finally
out of -arena
for the season
• It's been a long winter.
While many hockey or ringette teams
maylong for just one more chance on the
ice; their dreams will have to wait until the
fall.
Most Goderich minor hockey teams
wrapped up their 1985-86 season on the,.
weekend with tournaments or our -of -town
league championships. The Goderich
tween ringette team wrapped up the
Huron -Perth championship this past
weekend and only the Jr. Belles remained
in need of ice as they wrapped up the
league playoff schedule in Goderich Mon-
day.
That was -the last of the ice time in the
Goderich arena for this season. The ice is
coming out this week and the arena will be
prepared for roller skating and ball
hockey. Both will begin sometime in April.
