When he was six he was the one who always made a mess at the dinner table by spilling something. When he was eight, he was the one who rode his bike in forbidden territory. When he was 12, he was the one who was never content to stay in the neighbourhood. Now that he's 15, he's travelling with a group his parents disapprove of and the police have brought him home for getting into trouble. His parents say they can't do a thing with him. This past- week I read where they are cutting down on the number of council meetings because most meetings only last a half hour. I can't figure out why they didn't brine this isue up the night they gave themselves,a raise. They took the job on at a certain rate of pay. Then give themselves a raise. It seems to me that one councillor had said they had to keep up with the rate of in- flation. Do they not know that this is what causes inflation? I would welcome a letter from them printed in the paper their justification of less hours and more money. Thank you Vern Smith Goderich Peter's parents have always worried about him. They spend a lot of their time together talking about hm. To his family he's always been and still is a pain. Peter's parents decide things are only going to get worse and it's time to get Peter some help. They make an appoint- ment tosee a family counsellor. According to psychologist. The family is where Peter has done his learning. The value in approaching the troublesome behaviour of a child through family therapy is that this atpproach e oktch,sh Ys fts the emphasis away Dr. Eull.
