Blyth Festival singers will present
concert of Sacred Music Sunday
The Blyth Festival Singers are presenting
their popular March concert of sacred
music in Ontario Street United Church, Clin-
ton on Palm Sunday, March 23, at 3 p.m. and
8 p.m.
The Singers will offer an eclectic program
of music from the Christian tradition, in-
cluding works by Handel, Haydn and
Brahms. These will be interspersed with
spirituals, familiar hymn arrangements
and 'an interesting piece for speech choir.

Conestoga
has new
board members
Carl A. Hennigar of Kitchener, Marie
Hicknell of Seaforth and Bert Wheeler of Or-
ton began their terms of office as new
members of the board of governors of Con-
estoga College at the Jan. 27 meeting of the
board, held in the Guild Room at the Col-
lege's Doon location in Kitchener.
Each new member has been appointed for
a three-year term.
The new Huron County member, suc-
ceeding Donald Wheeler, is Marie Hicknell,
who with her husband Francis operates a
farm in McKillop Township. Her past ac-
tivities include service as reeve of the
township, as Secretary -Treasurer of the
Township Federation ofpAgriculture and as
a member of both the Seaforth Community
Hospital Board and the Seaforth Fire Area
Board. Currently, she is on the committees
of management forthe Seaforth and District
Community Centre and for Huronview Nur-
sing Home.
Other members of the Board of Governors
are Jack Brady (Goderich), Roy H. Clark
(Cambridge), James Finamore (Guelph),
Linda Ham (Staffa), Douglas Kimpel (Cam-
bridge), Michael Lawrie (Guelph), Mary
McMane (Milverton), Ian Montizambert.
(Stratford) and Eileen Parliament (Kit-
chener). The board will soon be selecting its
chairman and vice-chairmen for 1986.

Port Albert Decorum
makes a mess of kitchen
On Mar. 12, the Port Albert II Decorum
made a -mess in the kitchen. They were preparing fortheir formal lun-
cheon that night. After many hours of
preparation and hard work in front of them
slowly appeared a small banquet set for
nine.
The guests included Lucy Martin, Tammy
Newhook and Brenda • Smith, Richard
Hamilton, one of the Home Economists, was
unable to attend.
They had a very enjoyable evening star-
ting with, an Italian meal. While a few who
,were designated for kitchen cleanup set to
work, the rest of the group enjoyed watching
a movie.
The next meeting is Wednesday, Mar. 19.
