The letter will concur with the protest from Clinton council about salary in- creases mailed to all Huron County West Wawanosh council will send a township pin and a description of how Joanne Sproul designed the logo to Toronto to be included in a time capsule com- memorating Ontario's Bicentennial. The capsule will be opened in 2084. Council also authorized the preparation' of an offer to purchase 10 acres of Part Lot 24, Coneession 14 from Leontin and Hilda Selent for $25,000. The land is adjacent to the Inglis Pit. . Jim •Finleon was hired by council to count dogs and sell tags in 1986 for the price of $1.75 a dog. Finleon was chosen out of six applicants for the job. In other news; West Wawanosh council agreed to give the usual grant of $100 to the Dungannon and Lucknow Agricultural Societies in support of their fall fairs. A tentative date of. Mar. 10 was set for the councils of West Wawanosh and Ashfield to meet with an Ontario Hydro representative for information about the eventual replacement of lights in Dungan- non. Coun. Hamilton -Seeger agreed to act as a second representative from West Wawanosh on the Lucknow and District Joint Recreation Board.
