That day . being the worst storm of the
winter.
Wellington and Kae Webster's son-in-law,
Atlee Wise and his friend Jack Arnold were
up from Ohio. They left home Friday morn-
ing, and made it two miles south of
Kingsbridge, when the visibility and drifts
forced them to stop and seek shelter. Later
in the afternoon it was certain they would
not' have made it all the way, as between
where they stopped and Kingsbridge there
were a number of stranded cars anci:a semi-
trailer truck had jack-knifed on the road.
Saturday morhing, with the storm abated,
and roads being cleared, Atlee and Jack
turned around and came home by Dungan-
non and Lucknow.
Let's all hope there won't be a repeat of
that storm, this spring anyway.
Cecil and Jim Webster were home from
Waterloo on the weekend, and the boys
found snowmobiling quite good, even after
the storm.
Visitors with Rhetta MacLennan were her
grandson Collin MacLennan, son of George
MacLennan of Agincourt and ,her son Jack'
MacLennan of Stratford.
Visiting recently with Mr. and Mrs. Gor-
