Jack and Marion Smith were in Stratford on Sunday for the baptism of their 22nd grandchild, Adam Paul Byers, son of Paul and Mary Byers. The service was held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Reports on Westminster Weekend On Feb. 18 a meeting of the Dungannon UCW was held at the home of Willetta McWhinney at 1:30 p.m. The program was led by Helen Dawson and started with a reading from Matthew 28 verses 1-8. Devotion was given in form of a skit. The sign of the Cross and was play- acted by seven ladies. Hymns 98 verse 3, 605 verse 3, 100 verses 4 and 5 and 104 verse 4 were read. Helen then read from Matthew 16 verses, 24-243, after which she read how Jesus was able to bear the cross with God's help. A prayer was offered and all repeated the Lord's Prayer. Collection followed and was dedicated. Nora Saunders reported on the Westminster Weekend which she aiiended last spring. The theme was Our experiment a sacrifice. Roll call was answered by a bi- ble verse with love in'it. Minutes were read and adopted. Cor- respondence was dealt with and thank you cards were read. An invitation was received to attend the Huron Perth Presbyterial to be held in Stratford United Church, as was one to the 100th anniversary of Hensall United. Information was given on the Westminster Weekend and Alma School for Women Seminars will be held at the Univer- sity of Waterloo in June. Roberta Linskill was to purchase material for a quilt. Some of•the ladies were appointed to take part in the World Day of prayer service to be held at the Dungannon United Church on March 7.
