Le ion
of Ro al Canadiangydian Legion grew from small scattered
associations into a united 600,000 member
body that today reaches into 1800 com-

struggles and gains between the two world
wars as it fought for the fair treatment of ex,
servicemen and their dependents. The book
then shows how the Legion has expanded its
vision to include not only veteran 'affairs -b
service to the community and expanded the )
membership to involve non -veterans.
