Crocker presided for the meeting, and expressed thanks to the congregation for the support given to him and his family during his sick leave in 1985. •The A.C.W. report was given by Cora Cook noting another financial successful year, and that there are Church Plates now available for $6. The church report was given by Ralph Forster stating -that the church also had a, very successful year. Ralph Forster, treasurer is retiring after many years of faithful service and Margie Young has been appointed the position. Plans are being made to help Port Albert celebrate its 150th Birthday. The in- terdenominational church service will be held on Aug. 3 at 10 a.m. with all former rec-. tors, members, and visitors welcome. The officers elected for the year 1986 in- clude Rector's Warden, Harbourn.Adams; People's Warden, Phillip Young; Vestry Clerk, Barb Hayden; Treasurer, Margie Young; Lay Delegate to Synod, Harold Adams and Substitute Lay Delegate • to Synod, Roy Bellinger. The tickets were drawn by Harold Adams, Philip Dickson and Trish Doherty. The winners were Lori Dykstra of Shen- pardton $300, Randy Maize of Port Albert $100, and Cora Cook of Port Albert $100. (BOB) LUCAS Robert F. ( Bob) Lucas, 57, of North Bay. died Thursday, Jan. 30, 1986 at St. Joseph's Hospital, North Bay. The son of I.B. and the late A.T. Lucas and the step -son of Elsie Lucas, of Markdale, he is also survived by one sister Shelagh, Mrs. John Sully, of Goderich, one brother.Stuart, of North Bay, four nieces and one nephew: Funeral services were held at the May Funeral Home, Markdale on Monday, Feb. 3. Spring interment Markdale Cemetery, WILLIAM HAROLD (BILL) TIGERT William Harold (Bill) Tigert, 61, of Port Albert, died Monday, Jan. 27, 1988 at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital. Son of the late Harold Tigert and the former Ella Stothers, he was born July 23, 1924 in Port Albert. The proprieter of Riverside Park campground, he was also a member of Christ Anglican Church, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 109 and the Royal Canadia*Naval Association. Surviving are his wife the former Aileen Kaufman, three daughters Sharon, Shelley and Susan, all of Toronto, three sons Lloyd and John, at home and David, of Cornwall, one brother .Jack, of 'Rig -Goderich and three sisters Dorothy, Mrs. Ray Barker, of Goderich, Margaret, Mrs. Gordon George, of London and Grace, Mrs. Gerry. Moore, of Sarnia. He was predeceased by two children in infancy. Funeral services were held in the chapel of Stiles Funeral Home.on Thursday, Jan. 30 with Rev. Robert J. Crocker, of Christ Anglican Church officiating. Interment Christ Anglican Church Cemetery, Port Albert. , The Royal Canadian Legion and Ladies Auxiliary of Branch 109 Goderich held a service on Wednesday, Jan. 29 at the funeral home. Pallbearers included Don McArthur, Clarence Hoy, Don Stemp, Charlie Hancock. Roy Munday and Vince Smith. (Ernie) , Doak of Asheboro, North Carolina passed away January 28; 1986. Surviving are his wife, Angeline, one sister, Mabel Cummings of Goderich and a brother, Arthur (Bucky) of Collins Bay.
