FRED H.13LSSET
Fred H.Bisset of Sa1tfprd Heights died at
home on 'Thursday, January 9, 1986 in his a
72nd year. A dairyman with Bisset's
Creamery and a photographer, he served
for six years with the Royal Canadian Air
Force dying World War 2. He was a
member of Knox Presbyterian Church, a
volunteer for Meals on Wheels and a
member of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Mr. Bissett was also an avid amateur
radio operator VE3 AIU.
Ile was morn on November 27, 1914, in the
same house where he died, a son of the late
Gordon Bisset and Freda Hess of Colborne
Township.
He is survived by a sister, Mary, Mra".
John Miller of ('reenlore and a brother, San-
dy Of Sitltford Ileights. Two nieces and four
nephews also survive.
The funeral service w0S conducted from
the McCallum Funeral Home (> 1 Sunday,

Robert Wayne Willis of '1'orontti formerly
of Goderich died at Sunny brook Medical
('entre, Tuna AO on Saturday, .1anuary 11,
1986 in his 45th year.
A shippelreceiver with Swan Recreation,
he was a former member of the :3rd Division
Rovers .and Knox Presbyterian Church;
Goderich.
Born in Goderich on.November 24, 1941, Ile
was as sun of Eumce'Young of Goderich and
the late Vernon Willis.
Ile is survived by a son, Kevin and his
wife. Mary 1,y'nn of Goderich.
Three sisters, Ann and her husband, Ben-
son Good of Corunna, Cheryl Overholt of
Seaforth and Janice and her husband,
Bryan Purdon of i;luevale and a brother,
Barrie and, his wife, Donna of Toronto also
survive.
The funeral and committal services were
held at the McCallun, Funeral:: llonie in
Goderich on Tuesday, January 14, 1986 at 2
p.m. conducted by Rev. G. 1,. Royal of Knox
Presbyterian Church, Goderich.
Burial in Colborne Cemetery.

Agnes Irene 'Townshend passed away at
Huronvicw 011.J01uary 8 in her 90th year.
A lifelong resident of Goderieli 'Township,
she was born on the 4th con. to- the late
Thomas and Elizabeth Harrison anti was

married to the late Ernest Townshend on
July 29, 1918. She was also predeceased by
one daughter, three brothers and six sisters.
Lett to (Mourn her passing are one son,
William and his wife, Bessie, two daughters,
Anna and her husband, William Blatchford,
Atwood and Joyce and her husband, William
Morrison, London. Also loved by eight
grandchildren and eight great-
grandchildren:
The funeral and comlllittal Services were
held at the Ball.& falconer Funeral home,
Clinton on Friday, January 10 with Rev.
James Bechtel officiating, Spring interment
will follow hi 13ayc ield cemetery.

E BUFFINGA
Geese (Grace) Buffinga of 128 John
Street, Clinton, died on January, 9 as a result
of a car accident on Highway 8 south of
Goderich. She was 64-yeiars-old.
Mrs. Buffinga was born on September 2,
1921 in Vollenhove, Holland to Roelof
(Ralph) Vtulderlinde and Mlle Winters. On
April 1, 1944 she married Hendrik Buffinga
in Holland.
'l'he Buffingas.innigrated to Canada in
May of 1952, landing in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
From there they took the trairtto Goderich
where they lived for a short while before
(moving to Colborne Township where they
resided - until 1956. Mr. Buffinga then
purchased a farm in Hullett Township which
is now Owned by his son Albert. They resided
there until 1967 when they bought the farm
now owned by Dr. Flowers on Highway 4.
The Buffingas lived there until they moved
to their present home on John Street in 1973,
Mrs. Buffinga was a member of the
Christian Reformed Church, Clinton, a
.volunteer for Meals on Wheels and an active'
canvasser for the Canadian Cancer Society.
She was also a volunteer for the Katch
Penny Store and member of the Willing
Workers.
Mrs. Buffinga is survived by her husband,
her daughter Mrs. Larry (Helen)' Johnston
and three sons; Albert and his wife Mary of
I.ondesbor'o; Ralph and his wife Margaret of
RR1 Clinton; Case and his wife Ruth Anne of
Clinton. '
She is survived by grandchildren Walter
and ,Grace Johnston, Brian, Darlene,
Janine, Henry, Glenna, Stacey and Jennifer
Buffinga.
Mrs. Buffinga is also survived by five
brothers, William of RID Goderich, Jake of
Winnipeg, John, Johan and. Willem Jan of
Holland and two sisters, Hennie (VanEgan)
and Fem Roes.
Funeral services were held on January 13

Goderich, died Monday Jan, 6, 1986 id his
residence.
Son of the hate Phillip Poulin and 111e
funnel' Errulla 1taa1e0ti1•f, both of Quebec, he
was born Oct. 27, 1909 at St. Victor, Quebec.
A retired stationary engineer at 0onUar,
he was also a member of St. Peter's Catholic
Church and a member of the Knights of Col-
umbus with his third degree.
Surviving are his wife, the former Ger-
trude Emery, Of Grande Point, whom he
married in Windsor in..1943. Also surviving
are one sun Robert William Poulin tont( his
wife Lois, of Guelph, three sisters Yvonne
Grouleau, of New Haven, Connecticut,
Lucille Emery, of 'Tecumseh and Helen
Brunet, of Montreal, seven brothers Henri,
Roland, Louis, Alfred and Victor, all of Mon-
treal and Ernest and Lucien, both of Wind-
sor and two grandchildren Sean and
Michael Poulin.
lie was predeceased by one daughter Cor-
inne Anne, two sisters Marie -Paul and
Marie and three brothers Joseph, George
and Charles,.
Requiem mass. was celebrated at St.
"Peter's Church, Goderich on Thursday, Jan,
9 with Fattier Joseph )lardy officiating.
• Prayers were said at Stiles Funeral Home
on Wednesday evening. Interment St.
Peter's Cemetery.
Pallbearers included Ronald Poulin,
Louis Phillip Emery, Julian Emery; Robert
Emery, Cameron Stewartson and Ronnie
Poulin.
