Santa Claus

CHRISTMAS IN THE YEAR 2000
It was Christmas time in Goderich again.
But this year was different from all the
earlier years, because it was the year of
2000.
Santa had just sent a letter to our little
town. It,said:
"Dear children"
"Please do not leave any cookies or milk
because my new electronic Santa Claus will
be delivering all the presents. So be good.
Love always,
Santa Claus."
All the children were very disappointed.
Now it was Christmas Eve. All the kids went
to bed very early, so that the new Santa
would come. And before they went to bed
they made sure that they didn't leave any
cookies or milk.
In the morning, Susan went down the
elevator and opened her presents, but she
was surprised because she had asked for a
twin cabbage patch kid, and instead she got
a dump truck. So that night she wrote a let-
ter to the real Santa Claus, it said
"Dear Santa Claus
I was very disappointed with all my gifts,
not that I needed them but they were all
boys gifts. So don't bother letting that fake
Santa come back., I'll miss you Santa Claus.
Love always, Susan"
When Santa read Susan's letter he was so
sad that he fired the electronic Santa, and
wrote back to the town of Goderich.
"Dear town
I'm very sorry about all your gifts but I'll
be delivering all the new ones again. So I'll
see you tonight.
Love the real Santa"
And ssci Christmas became a joyful one,
just like the years before.

CHRISTMAS IN THE YEAR 2000
We were all sitting around the Christmas
tree opening our presents. I was opening my
fourth present. Another video game.
Everything was all computerized now. My
friends and family loved it. I hated it.
My mom was opening her second present.
It was a pair of pants with pac-man on them
(Everyone is wearing them now). She also
got a shirt with Mrs. pac-man on them so
now she has a matching set. She also got
socks with Mr. Do on them. Sometimes she
acts just like a teenager.
Well, I sure wish things were like the way
when grandma explained it. Christmas
trees, I mean real Christmas trees. One
good thing came out of Christmas though. I
got a home computer of my own.
