CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS IN MY HOME
In my house my traditions are to go to my
relatives on Christmas day and have a
turkey or chicken dinner.
We open presents and play games. One of
the games we play is called Marlene's
game. My aunt made it up. We play it every
year.
We also get to open one'`present Christmas
Eve and we hang our Christmas Cards
around doer ways. That's what my family
traditions are for Christmas.

CHRISTMAS AT MY HOME
Near Christmas time my brothers, my
five cousins and I, would draw to see who
buys presents for who. This year I have to
buy a present for my baby cousin Chantelle
and my cousin Tara has to buy a present for
me ... I wonder what she is going to get me!
But then at Christmas eve after supper,
my two brothers and I would get to open 2 or
3 gifts each. Then we would get to watch
some movies rented from a V.C.R., then go
to sleep.
Then in the morning my brothers and I eat
breakfast and then wake my mom and dad
up. We get to open the rest of our presents.
Later in the afternoon our grandparents,
some of our aunts and uncles and my family
would gather at my aunt Cindy and uncle
Steve's house for a tremendously big
Christmas dinner.
Those are the Christmas traditions at my
home!

MY CHRISTMAS TRADITION
IN MY HOME
Remembering, giving, loving and caring,
our family does that and more.
Christmas Eve, Nancy my Dad and I sing
Christmas carols. The Christmas Tree
lights flashing, the angel at the top of the
tree, holding a candle and head bowed
makes us remember the baby Jesus being
born. After we are done singing carols we go
to bed with excitement.
Christmas' morning, we get up, put our
housecoats on and head downstairs and sit
around the Christmas Tree. Cards from
relatives all on the table in a row, presents
are stacked around the tree. We open the
presents with joy and then we would go
downstairs and play until the big dinner.
Later in the day, my grandma Kingsley
would come and Nancy Gerry and I would
open our presents from her, then grandma
Fritzley would come and we would open her
presents then we all would help making din-
ner. When dinner is ready we would sit down
and have ham and salades and vegetables
but before we eat I would say a prayer then
we would eat and have Mince -meat pie (my
favourite!) then we would sit and talk then
go to bed: And that is how my Christmas
tradition is in my house.

CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS IN MY HOME
Christmas is very special. We decorate
the house every Christmas. We usually have
a dinner with the family. We have roast
beef, potatoes, beans, carrots and cakes. We
open one gift on Christmas Eve and then we
hang up our stockings. We also decorate the
tree with bows, ornaments, tinsel and things
like that. On Christmas morn we wait until
everyone is awake and the we open the
goodies in our stocking. Before we open our
presents we have a breakfast of, pancakes,
bacon, eggs, cereal and toast and orange
juice. After we are finished we dress and go
to our cousins. We open some of our presents
givyn to us and we bring some for them to
open. Through the day we play and use some
of our things. Then we usually eat dinner
there. (at our cousins) Eventually we go
home and enjoy the rest of the evening
together. That is our Christmas tradition.
A Merry Christmas -

MY CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS
Our Christmas traditions are going to a
family get together. One year we would go
to one house another year another house.
Another tradition is that we have to wait till
our mom and dad get up before we can open
any of our presents. We can look in our
stockings but we can't open any presents.
Another tradition is we always pick
names from a long list of people. This year
my sister got my cousin Jody as usual and I
got my cousin Jana. And one last tradition is
we usually hang Christmas cards on the
doorway to the kitchen. That is all the tradi-
tions we have. You might have a whole
bunch more.

My little brother writes a letter to Santa
with the help of mom or dad.
On Christmas Eve my brother and I hang
up our stockings and prepare same cookies
and milk for Santa.
We have done this for as long as I can
remember and I hope we do the same in the
future.
