A GOOD DEED AT CHRISTMAS
At Christmas every year I help bake
Christmas cookies.
Some are round, some are in all different
shapes and sizes. Some of them are red with
green cherries, some are green with red
cherries.
I give them out for Christmas in con-
tainers. Everybody says they tego) . and
ask me to make more, so I do
My mom says I do a good i eed every ye lr
and she asks me to make some more for our
family.

A GOOD DEED AT CHRISTMAS
I helped put up Christmas lights yester-
day with my mom and dad by climbing our -
big pine tree outside and hanging the lights
on it.
My mom and dad thanked me because it
was a hard job. I felt good after I was finish-
ed it.

Once again, the Christmas mystery pervades the air of home, mart and sanctuary. To th:, child,
the interim has been so long; to those of more advanced years, it has passed so quickly.
Regardless of how slowly or how quickly it has passed, that interim between Christmas 1983
and Christmas 1984 has brought its losses and its gains, its achievements and its reverses, its
joys and its sorrows, its re -unions and its separations. Whatever the interim has brought to
you, we take this opportunity to express our wish that the peace, joy and hope God gave at
Bethlehem at the Messiah's birth may be yours at this Christmas Season and throughout the
New Year.
