Trouble turned in some fine scores as they
took five points from the Blazers. Liz Kruste
led her team with terrific games of 282, 206,
252 for a 740 triple. The Blazers managed to
snare two points as Jean Pinder roiled 247,
601 triple and Joyce Hamilton a 227, 02, tri-
ple.
Shirt's Girls bowled over 80 percent of
their average and that they did and more.
Barb Almasi topped the singles with a 324,
for a 668 triple.
TUESDAY MIXED
The Bold Eagles continue to lead the
league. Myles Murdock rolled a 295 single
and 700 triple" to get 3 points off of the
G.M,C.'s Jean Merkely was the offence for
the G.M.C.'s rolling a 661 triple.
The Unknowns came up big against the
Dirty Half Dozen taking a 5 - 2 decision.
They had 4 600 plus bowlers with Vi de Haas
and Lois Rowe showing the way with 663 and
605 triples respectively. Larry Million had a
big night for the Dirty Half rolling a 786 tri-
ple to get the two points.
Dick McLean and Shirley Schmidt sup-
plied the strikes as the Tricky Six took five
points from the Pin Pickers. Dick rolled a
321 single and 782 triple while Shirley rolled
MONDA. MEN
Murphy's Lang has led the league for
quite a while, but in the last couple of weeks
the competition has been up to the task.
This week, Selinger-Wood,, sparked by
Don Carrick with a 648, ganged up on the
leaderstiy, the score of 22 - 8. Al McDonald
was theright note for Murphy's, beating
his averagge by 32 pins.
French Cleaners took 22 from the Poverty
Pak. Bob Mills led the team with a 313 single
and 794 triple. Dayle Wickie bowled a 611 to
lead the A Team to a 17 -13 win over the Tail
Ends. Dennis Schmidt topped the Tail Ends
With a 665.
' Little Bowl and John's Jokers broke ex-
actly even at 15 apiece. Sonny Moore was
, high man for Little Bowl with a 766. High
man for the Jokers was John McInnis with a
642. '
MONDAY NIGHT LADIES
Auleen's Angels and the Marionettes were
battling, for top spot and the Angels
came away with severs points. Auleen
Theriault with a 531 triple and May Miller's
518 triple, led the way. The Marionettes
were led by Betty Fisher with 207, 217, 582
triple.
Four points were taken by the Oldtimers
as Nancy White led her team with 211, 555
triple. Close behind her was Bev Million
with 197, 521 triple. The No -Names earned

Sharon Tyo's 85 pins over average and
Neil Maxwell's 508 triple rallied the
Copycats to a 4 - 3 decision over the
Disasters. The Disasters were led by Joan
Eisenbach's 615 triple.
The Night Owls bowled to a 5 - 2 split over
the "A" Team. Al Fisher led the Night Owls
with a 635 triple, while Deb Good led the "A"
Team with a 562 triple.
The Four Seasons also took a 5 - 2 split
from the Semi's. Four Seasons were led by
Randy Harvey's 489 triple. High bowler for
the Semi's was Bob Johnston with a 571 tri-
ple.
THURSDAY MEN'S
Laird's Wagon and Sixpack, each with 41
points share the lead. Bert Worsell is the
leader for Lairds with a 199 average. Kevin
Rumig 243 average, Dick McLean 235 and Al
Sanders 213 are showing the way for Six-
pack. •
Bombers are alone in second spot led by
Ted Rowe 210 and Fred Pottle 203 averages.
North End Marina and Spoilers share
third spot. North End Marina have two
bowlers with 200 averages, Carson Milley
221 and Glen Desjardins 200 even. High men
for Spoilers are Ted Rowe and fred Pottle
with averages of 210 and 203.
Lakeport Advertising bring up the rear
with 34 points. With averages of 220' and 219,
John Duckworth and Simon Langlois are the
leaders for the team.
THURSDAY NIGHT LADIES
Marj Smith of the Yo Yo's was their high
Brown bowled every game above her
average and had a good 206 game, The Yo
Yo's took charge and took 5 points with the
A)leycats taking 2. Veronique Harman was
their high bowler with a 537 triple.
Spare Parts took five points syith Perky
Allen having a terrific game of 264.
Wallbangers took 2 points with Dianne Scott
having a good night with a triple of 612,
Team Canada's Beth Feagan bowled well
above her average all night to give her a 568
triple and helped her team to -take five
points from the Nighthawks. Mary Lamb
was high bowler with 504 triple.
What Not's took charge and swept off with
seven points with Leone Thom bowling a 625
triple. Trouble Makers didn't take any
points but Barb Pigg had a 569 triple.
SENIOR CITIZEN BOWLING
Art's Tarts took five points from the Ups &
Downs. Jim Watson had a 235 and 569 triple
for the Tart's, Irene Spark's 188 was best for
the Ups & Downs.
The Madcaps beat the Headpins, winning
all three games. Marie Park, 536 was tops
for the Caps, while Ed Smythe had a 560 for
the Pins.
Vims and G & M's split games with the G
& M's getting the best of it. Ben Hamilton
with a 622 triple and Gladys Evans 211,
helped the G & M's get five points. Marion
Charters 164, Helen Watson 162, tried hard
for the Vims.
Ed's Girls took five points from the Pin
Pickers. Ed Taylor 218 was high for the
Girls and Joan Thompson, 210 bowled well
for the Pin Pickers.
Scatterbrains also got five points in their
games with the Jems. Kay Glen bowled 498
for the "Brains" and Marg Harman had a
514 for the Jems.
FORRESTERS MIXED
Sheilla Sullens of the "10's" had a 346
single and 671 triple, high for the ladies. The
10's took Bombers for seven. Bfian
MacLean of the Bombers had a 690 triple.
Arlies . Harlies took a 5 - 2 split with
Presidents Choise. Nancy Willis had a 202
and 206 and 583 for Presidents Choise. For
"Arlies Harlies Ralph Curran had a 669 tri-
ple.
Ups & Downs got a 5 - 2 split with Dans
Fans. Ted Johnston bowled a 289 & 285 for a
712 triple. Jack Gilbert a 238 & 617 triple.
Sylvia Johnston a 205. Gerry Morgan of
Dans Fans was top bowler for his team with
a 256, 209 for 658 triple, Muriel Morgan 219 &
Dan Mero 206.
Hascals Rascals got a 5 - 2 split from
Spark E. Sandy Fisher was Spark E's top
bowleg° with 242, Allan Webster 234, 209.
Ruth Oke was tops for Hascals Rascals with
230, 223, 201 for a 654 triple. Steve Johnston
247 & Doug Hascal 263 for a 620 triple.
Duplicate Bridge Club
On November 27, the Goderich Duplicate
Bridge Club played an 8.5 talle Mitchell
game.
In the North-South direction, Mary
Phillips and David Bryce were the winners,
with 97.5 points. In second position with 94.5
points were Dawna Sproule and Mary La-
paine. John Donatis and Bill Bradley were
third; with 94; followed by Jean Cook and
Cathy McDonald (the director) with 91.5.
Average was 84 points.
In the East-West direction, average 94''z
points, Jean Papernick and Auleen Curry
placed first, with 119 points; followed by Bill
Duncan and PK Venki; with 107. Kay Dun-
can and Niala Conlon were tied for the third
spot, with Sandy Turvill and Randy
Piirainen, with the average score, 94'2
points.
A three -table Howell game was played at
the Legion Hall on Thursday afternoon,
November 29 with average 25 points.
Winners and their scores were as follows:
first, Pat Stringer and Cathy MacDonald
(director), 33 points; second, Theresa
Donatis and Marg Hall, 28 points; third,
Esther Garrow and Helen Young, 26 points;
and fourth, John Stringer and Archie
Hamilton, 23 points.
