Couple wed in Nile church

Daniel Richard .Donnelly,- son of Mr. and
Mrs. James Donnelly, and Heather Patricia
Brander, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter
Brander, all of Goderich, were united in
marriage at Victoria Street United Church,
Goderich on Saturday, September 15. The
Reverend John Wood and Father Robert
Hudson of Port Elgin officiated at the
double -ring ceremony. Matron of honour
was Carolyn Carter of Goderich.
Bridesmaids were Donna Brander and Bar-
bara Brander, both of Strathroy, sisters-in-
law of the bride, and Teresa Donnelly of
Goderich, sister of the groom. Groomsman
was Chris Carter of Goderich, while guests
were ushered into the church by Mike Don-
nelly of Toronto, brother of the groom, Dave
Bedour of Brights Grove, and Ronan Conlon
of GoOerich. Junior 'ushers were Tom and
Pat Donnelly of Goderich, brothers of the
groom. Ringbearer was Conor O'Keefe of
Calgary, nephew of the groom and
flowergirl a was Christine Brander, of
Strathroy, niece of the bride. Following the
wedding ceremony, a reception was held at
the Goderich Township Hall, Hohnesville,
with Jim Crawford of Goderich, acting as
Master of Ceremonies. The couple took up

NEWBORN NEWS
Delford Milton John Schade, son of Mrs.
Milton Schade of Milverton, and Louise
Verdella McWhinney, daughter of Mrs.
Howard Sproul of -the Nile, were united in
marriage at Nile United Church on October
5. The Reverend Robert Roberts officiated
at the double ring ceremony. Music was
provided by Mrs. Jean Elliot.
The bride's dress was street -length
polyester with sheer jacket in an ivory color
with cranberry accessories. Her corsage
was cranberry colored roses, stephanotis
and baby's breath.
Maid of honor was Mrs. Howard (Jeanne)
Preszcator, friend of the bride. She was
gowned in a street -length polyester dusty
rose jacket dress with cranberry and grey
accessories. Her corsage was cranberry
roses, stephanotis and baby's breath.
Flowergirl was Larissa Sproul, niece of
the bride. She was gowned in a long pink
nylon and lace dress trimmed with rosettes
and she carried a basket of cranberry
colored roses, stephanotis and baby's
breath.
Ringbearer was Lucas Sproul, nephew of
the bride.
Groomsman was Richard Purdy of
Milverton, brother-in-law of the groom.
Guests were ushered into the church by
David Sproul of Auburn, nephew of the
bride, and Douglas Ballantyne of
Sebringville, friend of the groom.
Following the wedding, a reception was
held at the Blyth Community Centre with
Howard Preszcator as emcee.
Guests were present from Oshawa,
Columbus and Stratford.
After a honeymoon in Northern Ontario,
Mr. and Mrs. Schade took up residence in
Milverton.
The wedding rehearsal party was held at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Sproul of
Auburn, brother of the bride.
Prior to the wedding, Jeanne Preszcator
held a money shower for Sheaffer Pen girls
arid relatives. The Nile neighbours also
suprised the couple with a lovely gift of
money.

We take great pleasure in introducing the _
star of our show, Angela Ardith, 7 lbs. 101/2
oz. debuting on Oct. 31, 1984. Co-stars, Colin
and Brenda Andrews i nee Brissette t would
like to thank the directors, Dr. Salsbury and
the supporting cast of Clinton Public
Hospital for their encore performance. A
standing ovation was received by grand-
parents Homer and Burnie Andrews of Clin-
ton aril! 1st time grandparents Ed and Ar-
dith Brissette of Goderich and great grand-
parents, George and Erna Muck of
Goderich.

Becky is pleased to announce the arrival of
her brother, Robert Eric, on October 24,
1984, weighing 7 lb. 10'2 oz. Proud parents
are Rick and Shirley. Grandparents are
Bert and Joan Dougherty and Len and Betty
Archambault. Great grandmothers are Ed-
na Cowan and Hazel Dopgherty.

Doug and Mary are pleased to announce the
arrival of a daughter, Amanda I.ee, born at
Stratford General Hospital on October 24th,
weighing 7 Ib. 12 oz. Proud grandparents are
Steve and Stefany Laskis, Toronto and Er-

daughter, Erica Ann, at 4:27 a.m. Wednes-
day, Otober 24, 1984, at Alexandra Hospital,
