Yacht Club, the BIA, the Police
I)epartment, St. Johns Ambulance,

The success of the Tall Ships' visit to the
Port of Goderich has manifested to me
what "small town Ontario" can
accomplish when it works as a team and
this was team effort to the nth.
Again my sincere appreciation to all who
contributed in any way ,to make this a
memorable occasion.

Pool not open for, little ones on Sunday
Dear Editor:
This letter is in protest of the closing of the
town pool on Sunday. I arrived to find
several moms with their little ones playing
in the water only because the gate had been
left open by accident, and we all let our little
ones steal a few minutes in the pool feeling
like thieves.
' I know what the town budget was last year
and 1 feel that it covered a lite guard on duty'
each and every day of this summer. It is a
shame when the one thing in Goderich that
is for your future tax payers, they can't
follow their own rules and be open on time
each day like any other Public Utility. Also,
I am told that when the supervisor did ar-
rive the little ones still in the water were
given heck for what was the park's mistake.
• •
I am happy with Goderich, but please,
some of the people in this town are not 20 to
60 years of age. Let's get the lead out and
gear up a bit for them.
Sincerely,
Katherine A.Larsen

tario, some from as far away as Ottawa and
Sudbury and a few from the United States.
The event couldn't have taken place
without everyone's co-operation!
Sincerely yours,
Jane Netzke
