Saturday, .August 17 and 16. Attendance was slightly lower than usual but enthusiasm remained high, On Saturday the Bayfield Lions Club set "up a'two ride miday. However, the games that were booked for the fair did not show up -so the Society put together a couple of games for the children. Threatening skies saw only a portion of the flea market and business displays arrive. A total of seven booths took part, offering a variety of items. The Dungannon Kinettes sponsored clowns who had balloons to trade for a donation toward Cystic Fihrosis Research. In between showers, fairgoers enjoyed the music of the Nine -Mile River Boys. Doug Young, Don Dickson and Kelly Brindley entertained with music. Contests on Friday night included chain- sawing, log sawing, bale throwing, arm wrestling and a pet parade for children.
