Vicar six years
Movies come and go just like songa'tid
fashions, but thereis always one' song or
one style that sticks with a person longer
than any other. For Brad Hill, the movie
Stdr Wars turned his head when he was
six -years -old, and eventually led him to
collect awide variety of. memorabilia.
Hill, who is now 13 -years -old,, has seen
Star Wars 17 times, The Empire Strikes
Back five times, and Return of the Jedi
once. He has 57 figures from the first two
movies, including Darth `Vadar, Luke
Skywalker, R2D2 and C3P0.
"I've never really played with any of it.
They have always been more of a
collection than a set of toys," he explained.
Hill's parents helped him build up his
Collection by buying him figures and toys
for Chirstmas, making the entire set worth
$1,000.
"My parents thought it was super that I
was collecting these, they just didn't
understand why I never played with any of
it," he said.
Although the collection may some day be
a collectors item, the Robertson Memorial
School student feels that it is time to turn
in his "At -At" and the rest of his Star Wars
collection for something more
sophisticated.
"I'm trying to sell the collection for $500
so I can use the money for other things,"
he commented.
After all, one can only find Yoda
appealing for so long.

Accusation should be directed to ones
who translated the Bible says Minaker
-Dear Editor.
reply to "Quoting all the facts impossi-
ble says Barney". .
In view of the fact the Bible which I use is
an accepted translation of our Canadian
society, I believe that his accusation of
mistatement should be directed to the ones
who were responsible for translating the Bi-
ble. Canada is not governed by Sanhedrin
law.
This, however, -does not alter the fact that
Abraham did not have any knowledge of the
name Jehovah, and that it is associated with
judgement. It is accepted in our society that
Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible.
LETTERS
The time of Moses was a lengthy time
after Abraham. I have some very old books
called Bible Commentaries, and some of
them state that the true name for God was
unknown. This conflicts with the length3,
statement that he made in regards to the
name Jehovah, which is just one of the
multiple names used for God in the Bible.
Once again I would like to direct him to his.
good friend Paul who states in Philippians
Chapter 2, Verses 8 to 11, which I quote in
brief form; that the name of Jesus has been
highly exalted above every name. At the
name of Jesus. every knee should bow. and
every tongue confess that Jesus C:lrist is
Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
I believe that Jesus was the Christ or
Messiah, because Abraham's experience at-
tests to it. even though the prophecy was
concealed. The 53rd Chapter of Isaiah also
records the sufferings of Christ, and was
‘critten a long time before his birth.
Sincerely'.
N.J. Minaker
Dogs are a problemat St. Christopher's
Dear Editor,
1 compliment. Goderich on the fine job
they've done at SI. Christopher's Beach. The
beautifully landscaped park/beach is an
achievement the town should be proud of: I
imagine most residents are.
Aside from littering I which any number of
refuse containers would not control). I think
there is only one problem. Dog -walkers''
Now. as i've stated it is a lovely area' to
walk in and if there was room on the em-
bankment side of the road. that would be the
place to w,ilk dogs.
11ow would you like to be eating your pic--
nic• and have a dog squat six feet r or less i
from your table to attend to nature's call''
And what is worse, most people dont even
