For Brad Hill, the movie Stdr Wars turned his head when he was six -years -old, and eventually led him to collect awide variety of. memorabilia. Hill, who is now 13 -years -old,, has seen Star Wars 17 times, The Empire Strikes Back five times, and Return of the Jedi once. He has 57 figures from the first two movies, including Darth `Vadar, Luke Skywalker, R2D2 and C3P0. "I've never really played with any of it. They have always been more of a collection than a set of toys," he explained. Hill's parents helped him build up his Collection by buying him figures and toys for Chirstmas, making the entire set worth $1,000. "My parents thought it was super that I was collecting these, they just didn't understand why I never played with any of it," he said. Although the collection may some day be a collectors item, the Robertson Memorial School student feels that it is time to turn in his "At -At" and the rest of his Star Wars collection for something more sophisticated. "I'm trying to sell the collection for $500 so I can use the money for other things," he commented. After all, one can only find Yoda appealing for so long. (photo by Anne Narejko ) Accusation should be directed to ones who translated the Bible says Minaker -Dear Editor. reply to "Quoting all the facts impossi- ble says Barney". . In view of the fact the Bible which I use is an accepted translation of our Canadian society, I believe that his accusation of mistatement should be directed to the ones who were responsible for translating the Bi- ble. Canada is not governed by Sanhedrin law. This, however, -does not alter the fact that Abraham did not have any knowledge of the name Jehovah, and that it is associated with judgement. It is accepted in our society that Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible. LETTERS The time of Moses was a lengthy time after Abraham. I have some very old books called Bible Commentaries, and some of them state that the true name for God was unknown. This conflicts with the length3, statement that he made in regards to the name Jehovah, which is just one of the multiple names used for God in the Bible. Once again I would like to direct him to his. good friend Paul who states in Philippians Chapter 2, Verses 8 to 11, which I quote in brief form; that the name of Jesus has been highly exalted above every name. At the name of Jesus. every knee should bow. and every tongue confess that Jesus C:lrist is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. I believe that Jesus was the Christ or Messiah, because Abraham's experience at- tests to it. even though the prophecy was concealed. The 53rd Chapter of Isaiah also records the sufferings of Christ, and was ‘critten a long time before his birth. Sincerely'. N.J.
