In the Goderich-Teeswater game played in Goderich, it was Jason Pearson who stood out offensively, scoring three runs. Teeswater waste little time as they had their bats swinging from the opening pitch. They scored two runs and left a player on third base. Kevin Moss was the only Goderich player to get on base during the bottom half of the inning, however, first base was as far as he could get. Goderich's defence did not allow any runs in the second inning but scored one run during their half. Pearson took four balls for a walk and turned it into a run. Goderich could not keep the Teeswater bats silent in the third inning as four more runs were scored. Unfortunately for Goderich, their bats could not reply as they headed into tht'- fourth inning down by five runs. Both teams left players on base during the fourth inning, out un the fifth, Goderich's defence held their opponents off while the offence scored two runs.
