Memories come back to Life...
devotion we are able to be here today.
I would like to take this opportunity to
thank them, for they were an ,important
part of our accomplishments. Although it
is us stepping into the spotlight today, we
owe a great deal to all of them.
This afternoon, as our hopes of becoming
a high school student become greater
reality, and as we say our last fawells to
our friends and teachers, we must start
thinking of a new beginning. This time, a
beginning more important than the last.
As we are handed our Grade 8
graduation diploma today, many of our
public school memories may come to life.
But we must leave our memories with
regrets and think about the future for it
the past that holds the memories but the
future holds the frustrations, surprises,
pleasures and challenges yet to come.
In closing, I would like to leave this little
verse wtih you. It was written by Robert
Louis Stevenson .and seems appropriate
for today as we shall be discovering new
and possibly better things in the future.
The world is so full of a number of
things, I sure we should all be kings.
