of Elmwood. ICemiedy drove in five rates

Clarence Young drove his horse

second race.
Red Oak Express was the winner of the
third rags; with John Muir as the drover.
Gerald Schenk of Craditail is both the owner
and the trainerof Red Oak Express. Howard
Kennedy drove his own horse, Kennedys
Special, and finished in second place- Ross
Battin funshed in the top three for the
second time during the evening when he
drove Ildeiton Star. The horse is owned by
Philip Maguire of Merton.
Owner, driver and trainer Borden Litt,
drove Super Peg to a first place finish in the
fourth race last Thursday. Apopka Byrd,
owned by Gorlyn Acres In 1'Clinton finished
send under the direction of driver William
Rapson.
Taking the third position was Kim
Mothers, driven by Ray Mothers and owned
by Broken Stable.
Randy Henry drove Roy DougiAs and
John Moffat's horse, Outstanding Colt in the
fifth race and finished first. Outstanding
Colt was followed by Rosemont Red, driven
and owned by Howard Kennedy.
In third place was Johnny's Starlite-
Grant Volland was the driver of Starlite who
is owned by Marlene and John Marshall
Faithful Missy won the sixth race with
Clarence Young as the driver. Missy is
owned by Jack. Gilmour of Lucan Sales Tax,
driven by Robert Windsor and owned by
James Windsor of Ailsa Craig, was second.
Sarawak, who is owned, trained and driven
by Dennis Nickle, was third.
Ross Battin added a forst to his winnings
when he drove Merrywood Liz in the seventh
race and finished first. The horse is owned
by William Bennett of Seaforth.
John Muir drove Highland Ovation in the
same race, finishing second. Gerald Schenk
of Crediton is the owner. I.iiseas Girl finsihed
third with Randy McLean driving. Owners
are Robert and Ronald Daer of Goderich.
Wayne Dupee of Clinton, drove his own
horse Miss Krista Hal in the eighth race and
finished first. Stanley's Filly finished in
second place with trainer Dennis Nickle
Point Farms
For a Bicentennial summer filled with fun
and recreation that celebrates Ontario's
rural and cultural heritage, visit Point
Farms Provincial Park. Picnic at the site of
the old Point Farm Hotel, a Victorian sum-
mer resort that once dominated the point;
pick up an historical map at the permit of-
fice and walk the park's past; view the anti-
que farm machinery display outside the
Stirling Barn that was erected in 1889; take
a turn round the fitness trail; swim in
beautiful Lake Huron or just bask on the
beach. At the end of the day, watch a stunn-
ing sunset over the water.

June 30, August 4, and September 1; modern
square dance - August 18; sandcastle
building contest - July 15; Lambton Youth
Theatre - July 21 and 22; and August 25 and
26; acid corn roast - August 25.

their wives roared approval as the reunion
was officially opened by Warrant Officer
J.T. Eadie of Goderich. Col. D. Florence
granted this honor as Warrant Officer Eadie
was the only person attending attired in a
complete WW2 uniform.
