TE[E LATE GEORGE W. KNIGHT
The funeral o'^ the late George W.
Knight, of Ilderton was held on Se (-
urday morning last when, the remeies
were brought to' Exeter and interred
in tie Exeter cemetery frons the G.
T. R. station, the teervices being con-
ducted under lilasoriie auspices. Mr.
Knight had been ail ng for some t me
and his death 'ores not unlooked for.
Be was 58 seals and 8 months old
and for a number o: years .has been
stationmaster at Ilderton. He ;was a
son of the late O'has. ] niglbt wito fo
many years was stationmaster et Exe-
ter. He is survived .by h,s widow,
wno was formerly MSS Elizabeth At-
chison, of Exeter, five daughters and
one son, tilso two brothers and one
eister, Charles, of 'St. Thomas •and J,
J. and Miss Knight, el Guelph.

regiment, third contingent, now in
training at .Londoe,, .was in town and
spent tic week -end with Mrs. Wilson
at the home of Rev. Colin and Atrs.
Fletcher, of the Thames Road. Miss
33arriet Wilson. of New York, also
spent Sunday here.
Mrs, John Northcott -met -with( an
accident one day last week which( ren-
dered i.er unconscious for soma time.
She 'vas in the woodshed leaning over•
when a block or wood from a pile fell
and struck her on the .bead rendering
her unconscious. She was alone at
the time and it Was nearly half an
boar before she regained conscious-
ness.
