There is a photograph of the group's members on the front of the album by Douglas Spillane and artwork by a niece, Sherry Johnston. It took 65 hours in the studio to record the album and four months to release it. The final .product has only been on sale for a few weeks now in record stores within a 35 to 40 mile radius of the Goderich base. Group members also ' carry albums with them to their various engagements and have sold a lot of them personally that way. A few weeks ago, when they were playing in Lucknow, a man drove there from Kincardine just, he said, to buy an album. The group is pl with the sound of the alburh but is'not about to make any "wild predictions" about how it will sell. The first step, they feel, is to get the original songs played on the radio. After that, everything will depend on radio reaction and general support and response from the public. Meanwhile, the group is not giving up its public engagements. The members, spend a lot of time keeping up their musical material and working on their live sound. They feel that live sound is important whether they are playing from inside' a tent, a dance hall or a gym- ' nasium. In the near future there are plans for releasing another •.single and sometime later another Pasarj album with more original music on it. b;..caltij GARDINER'S DAIRY L., ti' 1,;7 7 )‘\ rele CREAM BOOTH -NOW OPEN DAILY NOON TILL 11 P.M. - 15 DIFFERENT FLAVOURS - Featuring simple interest with no prepayment penalty. flexible terms and life insurance at no extra cost.
