This year the men seem
to have picked the best
night, weatherwise, as
Tuesday night the sun
shone bright and clear
skies prevailed formen's
night.
Low gross went to Dave
Bedour while Ron Bushel
was low net winner.
First flight winners
were Issy Bedard, Al
Pennie and Paul
Baechler. Second flight
went to Bill Brown, Ray
Cook and Stan Connelly
while Don Fuller, Coley
McDonagh and George
William s were third -flight
winners.
Thursday Ladies night
was a washout, some of
us got a few holes in
before the downpour, but
gave up, and came back
to Clubhouse for a tasty
barbecue and played
cards. Special .thanks to
lunch committee girls
and Paul for doing the
barbecuing. Let's hope
this week, June 26, the
sun will shine for us.
Ladies this is another Pin
Day, so try and play 18.
Another two -ball party
is scheduled for Sun.,
June 29th, Brunch is at 1
p.m. and 18 holes of golf

Sunset hosted the Legion
District tournament. A
team from Kincardine
was overall winner with
Clinton and Goderich
placing second and third.
Some of the Sunset giris
travelled to Listowel on
Tuesday to take part in
their annual tournament.

Monday night was our
last night for lessons, so
hope we all can improve
our. game and show our
teachers how helpful they
have been. Thanks again

Atoms lose tourney
The Goderich Minor
Soccer - Atom team
travelled to Walkerton on
Saturday, June 21 and
attended a tournament
held by the Walkerton
Soccer Club.
Goderich played very
well in their first game
against the Walkerton
"A" team. The
Walkerton Club scored
with two minutes
remaining in the game to
take a 1-0 win.
Coaches Allin Fisher
and Roy, Straughan were
very pleased with the
Atoms as they were
playing against Atoms
and first year Mosquitos
who have more size and
playing ability.
The Goderich team ran
into an even bigger and
more experienced team
from PortEligin and lost
"the second game 4-0,
The young Atoms from
Goderich all enjoyed
themselves and.felt.it was
a good- education ; .•in
soccer.
