Chief librarian Bill Partridge told council the library board had not decided to move the children's section to the lower floor but were only looking - into the feasibility of the move. MITCHELL - No one's' quite sure what was seen flying over Mitchell on June 8, - An eyewitness reported seeing ' a shiny object "with very short wings and square like an ashtray" hovering over the town about 7 pm on Sunday, June 8. He said it came in at cloud level from the northeast and heading in a westerly direction before starting to veer southwest about 6:15 pm. Similar sightings were reported across south- western Ontario Sunday night. A London radio station reported than an object seen over Dash- wood later turned out to be a weather balloon. The fund-, raising committee hopes to -realize an amount in excess of $15,000 as other cutbacks have made it necessary to raise more locally. Plans are being made to conduct a telephone canvass for donations the week of June 15 to June 21 which" has been proclaimed Senior Citizens Week in Goderich.
