that work on the
renovations will begin at
8 a.m, on Monday, June
16, with one carpentet
and three students
working. He requested
that the Building Com-
mittee meet at the Centre

volunteers in health
related organizations.

hygienic and health
consciousness of the

that is truly efficient,"
Mrs. Lytle said.
The Lung Association's
annual report, adopted at
the meeting, showed the
group begins its 1980-81
financial year in the
black,.improvement from
deficit budgets in the
past.
'Receipts from last
year's Christmas Seal
campaign were up
slightly, to $46,899 from
$46,046. Tribute was paid
to honorary campaign
chairman Bruce Sully of
at that time.
Mr. Hunter reported
that the constitution
adopted by the MacKay
Centre, members has
been approved by Town
Council. By-law No. 48 of
1980 to approve the
financing of the MacKay
Centre for Seniors
regarding recon-
struction, renovations,
and equipment was
passed by Goderich Town.

moving the library's
children's section to the

MITCHELL - No one's'
quite sure what was seen
flying over Mitchell on
June 8, -
An eyewitness reported
seeing ' a shiny object
"with very short wings
and square like an
ashtray" hovering over
the town about 7 pm on
Sunday, June 8. He said it
came in at cloud level
from the northeast and
heading in a westerly
direction before starting
to veer southwest about
6:15 pm.
Similar sightings were
reported across south-
western Ontario Sunday
night. A London radio
station reported than an
object seen over Dash-
wood later turned out to
be a weather balloon.
As to the One over

The total amount of
money raised in the
campaign as of June 16 is
$11,6,26.20. The fund-,
raising committee hopes
to -realize an amount in
excess of $15,000 as other
cutbacks have made it
necessary to raise more
locally. Plans are being
made to conduct a
telephone canvass for
donations the week of
June 15 to June 21 which"
has been proclaimed
Senior Citizens Week in
Goderich.
