The viewing of familypictures and scrapbooks took place prior to the generous smorgasbord meal. The president, Myrtle Johnstone, called on Carol Nivens to present the program. A couple of word games were played and several people won pr -ices. Piano selections were played by Elizabeth Wilkins. A short film entitled, "Scotland Dancers" 'Was enjoyed by everyone. Prizes were also presented, to the following: erson coming farthest, Doreen Szelast -of Montreal; most recently married (within two years) Harold and Ella Johnstone; longest married couple ((Wer 45 years), .Mr. and Mrs. Jack Johnstone; and youngest child, Bradley Hodges. This was followed by a ' sing -song with Shirley Goehner of "Elmira at the piano. The treasurer's report was , given by Isabel Hunter followed by -the , minutes -of last Year's pienic. The executive for 1981 is: president, Eileen Ashton; vice-president, Winnifred Guse; secretary, Laura Campbell; treasurer, Isabel Hunter; lunch committee, Bonnie Hodges, Dorothy Zeigler and Ruth Snelgrove; program committee, Ruby Reach and games for children, John . A. Johnstone. Myrtle Johnstone expressed her thanks to all those persons who had helped on the committees this year. As M'rs. Mayme •' Wilkins • is doing the research on the family tree she asked for the present day times as well as the past. After many favourable comments concerning the picnic were given, it was decided to hold the next reunion at Brookside School. The date -will be May 247_1981.
