(Photo by Fred H. Bisset) Court, New service will aid some shutins BY JOANNE BUCHANAN Suzanne Stoll, owner of La Trousseau on Hamilton Street, has come up with a novel idea for helping the elderly ,,and the sick to shop for gifts more easily. She's decided that if they can't come to her, she will go to them. After opening her store there on March 13, Mrs. Stoll discovered that there were many elderly _...,,people, some sick, frail and shut-in and others without. cars, who received wedding and shower invitations but. were unable to go to a store and select an ap- propriate gift. Sometimes they would send someone else to a store to select a gift for them. It was after this discovery that Mrs'. Stoll decided that she 'would help by offering to take her mechandise into the homes of people who, for some .reason, could not get to her store. Her merchandise is easy to transport (she sells- such things as towells, pillows, tableclothes and sheets) and •if people give her an idea on the telephone (524-2448) what : they would like to. see, she can load up her car and take a variety of items' to them at no extra cost. They can then look over these items and select what they want. This service is of value to both merchant and customer. It helps the merchant to sell her products and it helps the customer to buy those products without having to expend the extra -effort it takes to travel to a store.
