tennis season at the
Maitland County Club is
in full swing (no pun
intended).
Tuesday, May 13, the
golfing and tennis ladies
had their opening dinner,
followed by a fashion
show which was much
enjoyed by all. The

School were held on May
20 and 21. All students
competed and had avery
enjoyable day.

Ziebart wins twice
in industrial play
Ziebart racked up two
wins in Industrial League
play last week nipping
Gords Sports 4-3 last
Wednesday and blanking
Green and Parent 4-0
Sunday.
The victory over Gords
was a come -from -behind
effort as Ziebart found
themselves in a 2-0 deficit
three hits apiece. Al
Sygrove chipped in with.a
run -scoring triple and a
single.
Simon Langlois picked
up the win holding Gords
to three runs onljust five
hits. Dave Schol•1 nailed a
run -scoring triple off
Langlois and Myles
Murdoch added a double•
after two innings. They Ziebart picked up their
scored single runs in the— second win Sunday over
third and fifth inning to Green and Parent on the

her crew, 34 golfers teed
off with a shot -gun start
provided by Jack Hoff-
rneyer.

Que Egener, Dave
Cornish, Bill Bradley,
Hugh Hanley, Bob
McDougall, Paul
Johnson, Phil Neal, Bill
Ross and John Stringer.

A good attendance of 29'
turned out on Tuesday,
May 20 for the first
ladies' night of the
season. And the winners

Johnson back in charge of
the Pro Shop again this
year.
