At their recent meeting council heard complaints about the motorcycles and trailbikes creating excess noise and per- forming dangerous stunts on the village streets. According to Councillor Russell Whitby, bikers are using one street as a drag strip and they pull wheel stands and drive down the street four abreast, disregarding stop signs. Other- :councillors said they have received complaints from town residents about lawns being ripped up by bikers trespassing and someone on a bike tore across the bowling greens. Councillor Ab Murray said that the bikes are coming into the village from the country but said all the village people can do is to hope that the OPP are around to lay charges when the bikes are performing. MIN MI:.E1111111111111 .
