Sunday morning chltrch service. The duet Mother", was sung by Margaret McQueen and Elsie Henderson, ac- companied by Mr. Frank Bissett at 't1he organ. After the benediction, "My Mother's Song" was sung by the choir. To honor the mothers at Huronview tea was held on Sunday afternoon, and fancy cookies and squares were served to the residents ,and their guests. Pouring- tea were Miss Margaret Mitchell, and Mrs. Margaret Murray. Serving tables were SarahCarter, Missa , Miss Gladys Stanlalce and Miss Margaret McQueen. At Old Tyme Music on Monday afternoon, Mr. Wilson McCartney, n Mr. Ken Dale and Mr. Lorne Lawson assisted Mrs. Marie Flynn with- the music. Also helping' rith the music were Mr. Jim Ruddock, , Mr. Cecil Skinner and Mr. Norman Speir from Huronview. • Rev. Broadfoot con- ducted Anglican com- munion on Tuesday morning in the chapel. . A barn valued at about $4,000 and 113 pigs estimated to be worth $11,000 were destroyed by fire in Saltford early Saturday evening. The building was owned by Bissett Brothers Limited and housed 214 pigs owned by Reginald Riehl. Goderich Police Constable Thomas Fortner has been found guilty of two charges under the Ontario Police Act and that requires his resignation from the force within seven days.
