The festivals will take place on Saturday, May. 24. This , year's "three - cities" program is a departure from tradition, as in previous years a single festival always was held in London bringing youngsters together from all corners of the Diocese of Huron. "We have always had wonderful participation in the Children's Festival," Right Rev. T. David B. Ragg, Bishop of Huron, said. "But our diocese is so large, that it trasn't---always-bee n-easy- for many families to bring their children all the way to London. "This year, with simultaneous festivals in Owen Sound and Wind- sor, as well as one at the Cathedral in London, we're hoping many more children will be able to participate." Bishop. Ragg said he attaches great Im- portance to the festivals. "It is of the utmost im- portance to the festivals. "It is of the utmost im- portance that we consider always the needs of our children and that we show them that the church is theirs' too" he said. Bishop Ragg will be participating in the London festival, while the two diocesan suffragan bishops, Rt. Rev. Morse Robinson and Rt. Rev. Dear Captain Comet: My name is Kelly Kent. At each location, the day will begin at 10 a.m. with a parade to the n lican children's festivals sponsoring church ... Saint Paul's Cathedral in London; Saint Matthew's Church, Windsor; and Saint George's Church in Owen Sound. - Children _ will par- ticipate in worship, arts and crafts programs, games and sing-alangs. Lunch is to be provided, and the day will end at 3 p.m. All parish ,c hurdles throughout the Diocese have arrangedtran- sportation and super- vision of chilren travelling to the 'nearest festiv-al location.
