Loses lovely woman... •frompage 1A Services is always looking for foster homes in Goderich. "You know it's funny. Our ad cam- paigns .for foster.. parents never bring in the people that simple word-of- mouth does. ' A couple 'might 'know people that have foster children and offer their own services. They are usually the more realistic ones"" Realistic. It's a word that Mrs. Hindmarsh uses often, and rarely with a frown. Everything about her is real and down to earth and loving. In the farmhouse just south of Goderich that she shares with husband John, there is evidence of family everywhere, though her four daughters and one ion have grown up and h e families of their own. On the barn door outside,. there is a brightly colored 'Love and peace • and flower power' collage leftover from the sixties. "We keep painting it over again every couple of years." It is precisely this kind of caring and attention to seemingly small details that has made Mrs. Hindmarsh such a lovely woman and wonderful social worker. But just because she is retiring from her job doesn't mean she is going to store her qualifications away in a drawer. She has 12 lucky grandchildren to spend time with, a farm and garden to take care of, spdniel puppies she plans to raise, travelling to do, volunteer work to become involved with, and of coures, 'there's that kite I bought at the health food store this week."
