Adult Basic Education
in Goderich will be
conducting a workshop
for tutors on May 10 from
10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Anyone interested in
becoming a tutor to teach
illiterates is invited to
attend.
- --Registration- fee
and lunch and coffee will
be provided. The
workshop is being held in
the new Huron County
Library building at 66
Waterloo Street and Mrs.
Freda MacDonald and
Mrs. Terri Porter will be
in charge. Interested

Ellen Murphy,
daughter of Herb and
Linda Murphy of
Goderich, is performing
this weekend with fellow
students of the National
Ballet School in Toronto
at the St. Lawrence
Centre for the Arts.
The• annual presen-
tation, called "An
Ev-ening of Dance,"
usually features the
students from the
graduating class;
however, numbers made
that difficult and Ellen
was one of the younger
students chosen to per-
form a choreographed
routine which demon-
strates ballet
movements.
Ellen is 14 years old
and in her third year at
the National Ballet
School.

Ottawa on a Venture•and
Citizenship Rotary ex-
change on May 11 and
will be in the city until
May 15.
The youngest Murphy,
Susan, is busy with the
Goderich Little Theatre's
Miracle Worker in which
she plays one of the little
black -face girls.

The Huron Historic
Gaol opens for its 1980
season on May i7. It will
be open, daily from 10
a.m. until 5:10 p.m. until

There are several new
displays this year in-
cluding the furnished
'courtroom, bathroom,
and superintendant's
quarters. The new
method of self -guided
touring will beging on
June 1.

his Bachelor of Applied
Chemistry and Chemical
Engineering (B.A.Sc.) at
the University of Toronto.
He has accepted a
position with Syncrude
Canada in Edmonton,
Alberta, starting Sep-
tember 2.

exchange with Michigan
will be performing at the

Faithfulness and Coin -
passion which endeared
John to Jesus. We need
