But the heat and humidity also ' come with Spring. We have had some terrific winds and rains - two inches and 60 to 70 MPH a couple of weeks ago! It seems that in order to blow the cold out of the north it has to pick-atp'•speed in -the-south- and REALLY puff and huff. Howmis it doing? I hear the winter has been mild - NICE -.and so your spring should slip in quickly. Are the crocus all gone? I sure hope to be back before the purple violets fill all the crevices along the sidewalks, and in the lawns. I like tippy -toeing around them! A great number of people have already left our park and others are leaving' every day - so I, too, have started the packing and if all's well, we will be home soon. This, has been a quiet, stay-at-home winter. Because of the gas crunch, I have been staying put but the main reason - really,- has been the traffic - this has been the real CRUNCH. It has been unreal! I think a lot of people suddenly realized that this was not just a gas scare and if they didn't travel now, it would be more difficult and expensiye next year - and it well'intght be! - We have travelled a great many, miles in Canada. Our best and most enjoyable trips were those that were actually quite close to home. For the AA member it doesn't matter how much he drank, what he drank, where he drank or what he did when he was drunk. The significant thing is what happened to him when he drank. Those who join 'AA learn that while they are recovering alcoholics, the important • thing to remember is that they are alcoholics.
