fun will be featured on the
stage of Blyth Memorial
Hall Saturday afternoon,
May 10 when the Bill
Mc -Clow family puts una
variety program.
Mrs. McClory, a
veteran vaudeville and
circus performer, brings
his whole family to take
part in the show which
includes magic tricks,
trick roping, comedy,

the Texas Skip, which he
say -s is the most difficult
of rope tricks. He does
juggling. He plays
musical instruments . of

• And to make the family
show complete, the
"Weak with laughter"
Huron Country
Playhouse has announced
their June 7 performance
of Spring Thaw'80 to be a
"sell-out".
Artistic Director,
Aileen Taylor -Smith
announced at a press
conference on March 6
that the season would
receive a riotous -send-off
on June 7 with a single
performance of Spring
Thaw '80.
Tickets for this pre-
season opener have been
available to subscription
holders only and were to
have gone on sale to the
general public April 28.
Ticket orders to date far
exceed the capacity )f the
Theatre.
Because • of this
demand, the Playhouse is
extremely pleased to
offer a second per-
formance on Sunday,
June 8 at 2:30 p.m.
Tickets for this matinee
performance are
available now for sub-
F
scription holders, and to
the general public April
28.
The touring revue
Spring Thaw'80 stars
Rosemary Radcliffe,
Mary Ann McDonald,
Brenda Bradley, Paul
Brown, Marvin Karon
and Patrick Young. The
production is a modern
revival of the famous
Spring Thaw shows of the
50s and 60s, the secret of
which, according to cast
alumnus, Don Harron
was "Canadian-
s'...tremendous capacity
for laughing at them-
selves." (Harron's
popular character
Charlie Farquharson was
developed in Spring
Thaw).
Produced by Alan
Gordon by , special
arrangement with Mavor
Moore, Spring 'Thaw '80
promises to build on the
reputation of previous
revues- -and leave the
audience weak with
laughter.
