There will be various events taking place at the school that week to which the public is invited to attend. One important event is a card party to be sponsored by the grades seven and eight for the seniors or anyone who is interested in the area. It will • d TLus day afternoon, May 8th at 1:00 p.m. in the Church Hall, There is no admission and anyone inter- ested in going should call the school before that day. Lunch will be served. Several' from the area attended the 25th wedding anniversary dance for Bayne and Marion MacLennan at the Lucknow Community Centre on Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Antone Van Osch and family visited in Waterloo on Sunday with Mr..and Mrs. John Van Osch and family. Mrs. R, Buchanan, president, extended Welcome to all and after the opening exercises all enjoyed a pot luck lun- cheon before the meeting. The secretary, Mrs.. Allan Stoll, called the roll call and read the minutes of last meeting. The co spondence was read d attended to., The embers decided to give a donation to the Red Cross Society and the Tuckersmith Fund Raising Committee. Tiger Dunlop Women's Institute will be in charge of the May Huronview Birthday party Wed- nesday May 21. The president thanked all who helped with the lunch for John Clark's night. Members decided to cater to the Colborne Central School Graduation dinner June 24. Final arrangements were made for the Salad Luncheon and Euchre Card Party April 30.
