You can put on shows for your family and friends. Qom To make a mini stage you need: 1. a box - any size 2. scissors 3. glue or tape "4. sticks 5. things to make people and the set with - see below for ideas DIRECTIONS Get the box ready. The box you need for this project should have four sides and bottom. It doesn't need a lid and can be any size you want. With the scissors make a long slit in the side of the box, you would like to be the bottom of the stage. 2. Make the set. A set is the background or scenery of a stage. Some things you can use to make the set are old scraps of material, sticks, leaves, flowers, sand, crayons, paints, pens., pencils , and ..cotton balls. Make a 'picture in the bottom of the box with these things. 3. Make the characters for your play. Use the same things you used to make the set and create stick people. Glue arms and legs onto the stick, making sure that you have enough of the stick left over to hold onto. Dress, your • characters any way you like; they can be animals, boys, girls, adults or monsters. Slip your stick people through the slit you made in the box. 4. Act out a story. Place the •liox on the edge of a table, stand behind it, and move the stick people to act out any story you like.
