However in the first game of this series Dennis found a way through Doug's defenses and took a one game lead in the series. In the other semi-final series Louis Stadelmann managed to wintwo straight over the strong playing Brian Miller. Brian Miller had a trethendous season and was considered a- power to be reckoned with in Level 1 playoffs. In Level 2 quarter- firials--Larry Gower managed to yvint two of three games against Bob Fitzjames. Larry went on to challenge Kirk tyndon in the semi-finals. Larry put up a good game but Kirk managed to outlast him and come up with, two particularly strong moves to take the first game. Kirk, incidentally, won the most improved award this year.
